Mrs. Lewison received her Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 1975.  She received her Master of Education in Elementary Education from Westfield State College in 1998.  She has many additional courses totally over 45 credits from various institutions.



Mrs. Lewison began her teaching career in Chicopee.  After a long hiatus to raise her children, she started substituting in Ludlow.  In 1989 she was hired to teach third grade at Chapin Street Elementary School where she taught for three years.  She was transferred to East Street Elementary School when the addition to that building was complete.  She returned to Chapin when reorganization was done.


Mrs. Lewison lives with her husband and her cat.  She has two grown daughters.  In her spare time, she likes to read, sew and crochet.  She and her husband love to take road trips in the summer, visiting many national parks within the lower 48 states.  She teaches Sunday School and sings in her church choir.
