Ms. Lawson received her Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education and her Master's Degree in Special Education at American International College in Springfield, MA.  While studying at AIC, she played on the Division II Soccer team and lacrosse team.  She also coached the Women's Soccer Team while doing her Masters.  





Ms. Lawson has been teaching for 14 years in the Ludlow Public Schools.  She started out in 2000 at East Street School as a second grade teacher until 2004.  Ms. Lawson then moved into Special Education and has been there ever since!  She is now an Inclusion teacher at Chapin Street School in third grade.  



Ms. Lawson grew up in Ontario, Canada with her two sisters.  She came to the United States in 1995 and has been in this country ever since.  Her parents, two sisters, two nephews and one niece all still live in Canada.  She loves to visit her family when she can and is very close to them.  Ms. Lawson grew up playing sports and traveled all across the country to represent Ontario. She still loves to play sports such as women's hockey, softball and soccer.  She loves to read and has a love for children.
