The Ludlow Elementary Schools PTO organized a fundraiser at the January 6th Springfield Thunderbirds hockey game against the Providence Bruins in the MassMutual Center. The money raised will help to fund  afterschool clubs, end of the year field trips and other various elementary school requests.

The PTO contacted both Meghan Provost, Chapin Street Chorus advisor, and Nicole Sousa, Veterans Park Chorus teacher, inviting both school choruses to jointly sing the National Anthem, to kick off the game; an honor they proudly accepted. Under the direction of Mrs. Provost, over 45 students gathered on the ice to sing for their families, friends, and hockey fans!

Congratulations to all of the students for their amazing performance representing the Ludlow Elementary Schools, and to the Springfield Thunderbirds for putting on a great performance and event for the Ludlow PTO! We invite you to view the video of their amazing performance below.
