Chapin Street Principal, Mrs. Nikki Reed, declared December 15th Fancy Day at school. What does Fancy Day at Chapin Street School look like?

By glancing at the pictures below you will find the answer - the cafeteria transformed into Chez Chapin complete with tablecloths and place settings for a fancy lunch (thank you Chef Sally and Mrs. Fillion), boys wearing ties and vests, girls wearing frilly dresses and tights, staff wearing high heels and white gloves, and the perfect ending to Fancy Day was the most spectacular winter concert performed by the the Chapin Street Chorus, under the direction of Chapin Street School Music Teacher, Mrs. Meghan Provost, along with her student teacher, Ms. Bridget  Ambers.

As one 2nd grader commented to Mrs. Reed as she was leaving the concert, “This was the best day ever at school.  We should have Fancy Day every week!”
